In time with his new season launch of Benjamin Alexander garments, we were lucky to have a quick chat with founder and designer Benjamin Alexander about inspiration, balancing work and home life and more.
Can you tell us a bit about the inspiration behind Benjamin Alexander?
I always find it hard to answer this question because ultimately it comes from within. Of course, it’s my surroundings and the people that I love that are a huge part of how I design, but at the end of the day I’m never exactly sure what it is that sparks an idea.
Who do you see wearing the pieces?
What I enjoy about seeing people wearing BA is the diversity in age and gender - it’s something I didn’t expect.
Do you have a personal style philosophy?
Diamonds aren’t only a girls best friend!
Do you have any bucket list goals or dreams for Benjamin Alexander that you can share with us?
It would probably be seeing more people wearing and enjoying what we do. 
What are some ways you keep the balance between your home and work life?
Being the owner of a business and wearing multiple hats has its challenges in regards to "switching off” and I definitely need to learn that it’s good to take time for myself and my loved ones without thinking about work. As cliche as it sounds, spending time with my friends and partner is how I keep the balance.
