Full Time | Auckland (Four stores)

Father Rabbit is looking for a Retail Manager to oversee our four Auckland stores. This is a hands-on role ideal for an independent, sales-driven leader who enjoys working solo in-store while managing and supporting retail teams across multiple locations.

As Retail Manager, you will work across all four stores throughout the week, ensuring each location meets our high standards for customer service, sales performance, and visual merchandising. You will be responsible for coaching staff, driving sales, and maintaining an engaging shopping environment. While you will often be working alone in-store, you will also oversee and support teams remotely, ensuring consistency and excellence across all locations.

Key Responsibilities:


Sole-Charge Store Operations: Work independently in-store, taking responsibility for sales, stock management, and day-to-day operations.


Multi-Store Leadership: Oversee and manage staff across four stores, ensuring consistency in customer experience, sales performance, and store presentation.


Sales & Customer Engagement: Drive sales by actively engaging with customers and coaching staff on effective selling techniques.


Staff Training & Rostering: Recruit, train, and mentor retail staff while managing store rosters to ensure optimal coverage.


Visual Merchandising & Stock Management: Maintain beautifully presented stores and oversee stock levels, ensuring efficient stock movement between locations.


Operational Administration & Marketing Support: Handle store cash-ups, assist with in-store events, and implement marketing initiatives to drive foot traffic and sales.

What We’re Looking For:


A self-motivated retail professional who is comfortable working alone in-store while managing and supporting teams remotely.


A proactive sales leader with a strong ability to drive revenue and customer engagement.


Experience managing multiple locations or the ability to oversee retail teams across different stores.


Excellent organization and time management skills to effectively balance responsibilities across multiple sites.


A strong eye for detail in visual merchandising, stock management, and store presentation.


A genuine connection to the Father Rabbit brand and an appreciation for beautifully curated retail spaces.


A minimum of two years of retail experience, preferably in a management role.
