Auckland has been very lucky with the weather during this lockdown, with lots of warm sunny days that are perfect for spending time out in the garden. A few of our own staff (the rabbits) have shared photographs with us to highlight how they are spending their time outdoors.
Our fantastic Bloc Store Manager Alishia has been out in the sun picking her delicious looking grapes. You can see Alishia using the Professional Kitchen Shears by Pallarès to easily cut through the vines.
The lovely Emma, from our sister company Best Abroad has been using her Father Rabbit Goods Herb Scissors to harvest lettuce from her beautiful garden in Grey Lynn. Pictured is also the Fog Linen Round Basket.
Our Online Sales and Customer Service Manager Amy has a wonderful lemon tree in her garden that she's taken advantage of to do some baking! Find Amy's baking journal post by clicking here.
Claudia and Nick (FR owners) made the most of the gorgeous weather and extra time on their hands by getting outside and going for a bush walk in their very own backyard. In Claudia's own words: "Some positives for me at home in Titirangi. We’ve been embracing the time we have had to explore our property. I’ve spent very little time beyond the bottom of our normal garden and this was a real treat to see fantails, beautiful Nikau, Ponga, Totara, Kahikatea and breathe in so much fresh air."
These Pruning Shears by Pallarès are a fantastic tool for garden maintenance and also make great gifts for loved ones with a green thumb. Each Pallarès tool-blade is hand-fashioned from high-quality carbon steel. Carbon steel is harder than stainless steel and will hold its edge longer before needing to be sharpened. We have three different styles of these shears so you can pick the perfect one for your gardening needs.
You've most likely spotted these fantastic Herb Scissors of ours being used in the previous images, and that's because our staff love them just as much as our customers do. They come in a handy set of three, with each pair crafted from carbon steel, making a sharper and stronger cutting blade.
