The poster series is inspired by Japan and their minimalistic approach to design which they have combined with Nordic blue tones. The series is inspired by a deep interest in natural objects like stone and chalk. The posters interpret the different structures of ink, paint and chalk on paper and gets a human touch when they combine it with simple hand drawn lines.
Offset printed on 200g uncoated Munken Pure paper (archival quality, FSC certified). Produced in Denmark under the Swan certification system.
Measures 50 x 70cm.
All professionally framed prints are:
- Mounted to adhesive foam board to ensure they sit smooth
- Completed with permanent framing clips
- Natural oak frame
- Each frame measures 4cm deep with a 1.9cm border.

Trend forecaster Sara Ingemann & art director Mandy Rep joined forces in 2012 and started the Copenhagen based Quote the Future, a multidisciplinary creative design studio focusing on future trends. Quote the Future explores the world of images, dives into creative minds and detect trends based on detailed research. Quote the Future travels through time, reinterprets history and shapes the future.
