The leading New Zealand boutique homewares and lifestyle store Father Rabbit is growing and we’re looking for superstars to join the team.

Established in 2010, Father Rabbit is a family owned business. Initially operating out of a rabbit sized corner in the living room, Father Rabbit stores can now be found in three Auckland locations; Mt. Eden, Herne Bay and Orakei Bay. Father Rabbit and his wares sit beautifully in these contrasting environs and are a testament to the timelessness of his carefully curated selection of products. Father Rabbit doesn’t subscribe to some deeply intellectual philosophy, just an appreciation of simplicity. That things should be done right, or not at all.

We're looking for some lovely part-timers to join the Father Rabbit team.

All our staff need to be available to work at any our stores (Mt Eden, Herne Bay and Orakei Bay).

Thursday (8.45am - 5.15pm) & Friday (10.30am - 5.15pm) | Orakei Bay

Ideal start date immediately; we are currently covering this role in-house. We're looking for our future superstar sales stars who are customer focused and can work with our Father Rabbit values.

We’re looking for someone with 1-2 years experience in retail, so you:

  • Are passionate about interiors and design

  • Love building relationships with customers and taking them through the sales process

  • Pride yourself on going above and beyond for both customers and fellow team members alike

  • Can get to grips with an inventory management system and adhere to systems and processes designed to ensure the smooth running of our stores

  • A confident communicator

  • Can commit to the role long-term

  • Have experience with Google Drive, Sheets and Docs

We have a great all-rounder, full time role at our head office in Ellerslie.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Cash ups
  • Entering invoices
  • Reconciling accounts on Xero and Cin7
  • Payroll
  • Setting up products in Cin7 and Shopify
  • Helping in our warehouse to process stock
  • And during the Christmas rush, assisting the online team

The role reports to our lovely general manager Laura and you’ll be working closely with our head office and online team.

We require you to have your own car and a full clean license.

This position is available from 21st August. The position is Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm.
