This steel and plastic sink drainer by Yamazaki is especially designed with smaller households/apartments in mind. It has a separate tray with a self draining gutter which angles into your sink so water doesn't sit beneath your dishes as they air dry. It also has a removable compartment for utensils.
Measures 42cm x 23cm x 17cm.

...not something you can say about a lot of made goods these days. Pricier than a lot of alternatives, but you can see and feel the quality in the basket. This minus the tray was just the right size for the ledge in the bathroom. (Yes, it's being used for something different.)
