The Round Cocotte from Staub has an innovative enamel coating which takes cast-iron cooking to the next level with improved performance, style and durability. When using this round cocotte you can ensure that all the flavours are intensified and that the aromas and vitamins within the food are retained.

The round cocotte comes with a heavy, tight fitting flat lid that features spikes on the underside for continuous, even self-basting. Enamel cast iron is strong, ideal for low heat cooking, it retains heat better than any other material, and even heat distribution eliminates hot spots. You can use this round cocotte on any cooking surface, including induction without scratching the surface of your cooktop.

Please note that the Interior black matte enamel finish requires little seasoning over time and is more resistant to scratches and chips.

Dimensions & Care

This item is oven safe. Do not heat rapidly, low to medium heat required only. Recommended for use with wooden or plastic cooking utensils only to avoid damage to the enamel coating. To clean it is recommended that you hand wash this item.

The 20cm size has a capacity of 2.2L and weighs 3.8Kg.
The 24cm size has a capacity of 3.8L and weighs 5.4Kg.
