Worn

The Australian based label, Worn was launched in 2015 by Lia-Belle King and Lotte Barnes. Partners in business and in life, the two grew and nurtured Worn Store from the simple concept of creating a consumable object that was free from ego and was ethically transparent in its manufacturing. The pieces are carefully manufactured either in Australia or Indonesia and their knitwear is made from the softest New Zealand possum merino.

‘Care, responsibility and quality are the three key concepts at the heart of Worn Store, along with the goal to educate consumers that it is possible to design beautiful, practical and affordable pieces that are both environmentally aware and sustainably made.’

Worn Store are committed to sustainably sourcing materials in an environmentally harmonious way.  Drawing inspiration from the natural environment and using natural materials but without negatively impacting the planet.

“We monitor and research all stages of the production process, from the sourcing and treatments of our timbers, leathers and fabrics, to the workplace conditions in which they are made, our pattern making processes to reduce wastage and finally, the methods in which our products are packaged, shipped and received.”

Father Rabbit are proud to be stocking a few select pieces from the Worn Store range. A timeless and classic brand that strives to be ethical and sustainable in their practices is something that Father Rabbit aligns with.

Worn are partnered with the sustainable organisation, Green Fleet, who neutralise the emissions created by the manufacturing process by replanting native trees within Australia. As a brand they continue to make sure that the materials, craftsmanship and work environment is driven by sustainability in an ethical way.
