Payment options and Credit Card Security.

We accept DPS, PAYPAL and bank deposit (NZ only) payments. Please see more information below.

DPS

Father Rabbit uses the DPS Payment Express Payment Gateway for its online credit card transactions.  This is a very easy credit card processing service for customers, especially those customers purchasing from another country for delivery in New Zealand as Paypal sometimes has issues if you are in one country and sending to another.  Please note we don't accept AMEX with DPS only Visa and Mastercard. (Paypal does accept Amex).

DPS processes online credit card transactions securely for thousands of merchants globally, providing a safe and secure online payment service.

Payments are processed in real-time. Father Rabbit does not have access to your full card number, this credit card payment is secured by DPS. DPS have bank grade security. All transaction details are stored in their PCI-DSS compliant Data Centre

PAYPAL

What forms of payment do you accept?

Paypal gladly accept Visa, MasterCard and Amex or regular account payments all through PayPal.  You can also "send money" via your paypal account to info@fatherrabbit.com

How secure is this store?

When you choose to use Paypal for payments, and PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available).

Do I need a PayPal account to make a purchase? 

No. PayPal has optimized the checkout experience with an exciting improvement to their payment flow.

For new buyers, signing up for a PayPal account is now optional. This means Father Rabbit Limited customers can complete their payments first, and then decide whether to save their information in a PayPal account for future purchases.

Here’s how this easier checkout works:

  1. Customers enter their name and shipping address.
  2. They’re prompted for their credit card, email address, and phone number.
  3. (Optional) After reviewing their information, they may choose to save their information by creating a PayPal account to make future transactions faster.

Please note that PayPal’s fraud prevention measures remain in effect for buyers who use this checkout even though the customer hasn’t created an account.

BANK DEPOSIT

This is for our New Zealand customers only. 

You will be sent by email our bank account details to make payment into our account once you place your order.Your purchase will be sent when we can see the money in our bank account. Sometimes this can take a couple of days between banks.

It is also useful to select this option if you intend to pick up your purchase in our Grey Lynn store. You can then pay by eftpos or cash in store.
